SENIOR PHYSIOTHERAPIST

Daniel joined our clinic in February 2016 having moved to Western Australia from Melbourne. He combines his role as Physiotherapist in the clinic with an expanding role at Claremont Football Club.

Daniel graduated from La Trobe University and has gone on to complete a Graduate Certificate in Sports Physiotherapy.  He is currently undertaking a Masters Degree in Sports Physiotherapy encompassing clinical experience in elite sporting environments.  He has also completed a Certificate III and IV in Fitness.  Daniel has attended multiple courses including advanced taping techniques, dry needling, aquatic physiotherapy and has completed ASADA anti-doping training, and is a guest lecturer for Sports Medicine Australia.

Daniel has previously worked in private practice, Premier League Hockey and VFL football with the Northern Blues (Carlton's affiliate side).  He was the tournament physiotherapist for the 34th International Men's Hockey Champions Trophy in 2012 and has traveled interstate with several Victorian Junior & Men’s State Hockey Teams.

Daniel enjoys the challenges of both diagnosis and treatment and has a strong clinical interest in post-operative rehabilitation, occupational and sports physiotherapy.  He is particularly interested in soft tissue injury, tendinopathy, shoulder rehabilitation and complex hip, groin and back conditions.

Daniel has a passion for sport and has competed at an elite level in basketball, cricket and volleyball as a junior athlete.  He is excited to get into the new state of the art Claremont facility and seeing more of the WA coast.
